I am an independent IT Professional. I have worked in the industry since 1991. During the early days of the World Wide Web I worked for several companies until I started my own company in 1998 providing IT services by contract to small businesses in Pierce County, WA, USA. I witnessed the Dot Com boom and bust from the field where I learned many lessons about hype and facts. You may, from time to time, catch a glimpse of wisdom garnered from those turbulent times in my career.
